Description

Una de las plantas flotantes más reconocibles y populares de
Costa Rica. La Pistia stratiotes es conocida cariñosamente como
“Lechuga de Agua” por sus hojas aterciopeladas de color verde
claro que se asemejan a una lechuga flotante. Extremadamente
resistente y de rápido crecimiento — perfecta para estanques,
macetas de agua y acuarios grandes.

One of the most recognizable and popular floating plants in
Costa Rica. Pistia stratiotes is affectionately known as
“Water Lettuce” for its velvety light green leaves that
resemble a floating lettuce. Extremely hardy and fast growing
— perfect for ponds, water pots and large aquariums.
